Gourmesso's Recipe on How to Make an Amaretto Coffee Using Coffee Pods with a Nespresso Originalline Machine

How to Make an Amaretto Coffee

Enjoy Amaretto Day with a warm glass of Amaretto Café, created with this Gourmesso Recipe. The Amaretto coffee has the delicate flavors of toasted Almond with a subtle hint of cherries and apricots. It is most definitely the perfect balance of bitterness and sweetness in a glass. In this blog post you will learn how to create this drink at home with your Nespresso Original Machine and a Gourmesso Coffee Capsule.

Fun Fact: Amaretto in Italian means “little Bitter”, made from almonds that have been infused with brandy.

Difficulty: Easy

Servings: 1 Cup

 Ingredients

  • 1-2 Artuzzi Espresso Pods (we recommend the Artuzzi Verona blend for real intense flavoring, but you can also take one of our other many espresso blends and "play" with the amount of Amaretto Liquer instead)
  • 2 oz milk (or brew your espresso Americano style if skipping milk)
  • 1 oz Amaretto Liquer
  • Whipped Cream of Choice (if desired)
  • 1/2 tsp of Cinnamon

Preparation

  1. Brew your Almond-flavored Artuzzi Verona in your Nespresso Original Machine.
  2. Heat milk (or milk alternative) until warm and mix with Amaretto Liqueur.
  3. Top your espresso with the milk and then your Whipped Cream.
  4. Garnish with your Cinnamon to add the last touch to your Almond Amaretto Café.

** Ratios can also vary depending on your personal preference. **
